However, like any establishment, there are nuances to consider. Some reviews note a minor language barrier with the staff’s limited English proficiency. “ Enjoyed the food, beer and friendly service. Nice pinxtos and paella good for the (slightly touristic) price. Would visit again! ”
“ The culinary offerings are exceptional. However, the staff’s limited English proficiency poses a minor inconvenience. The seamless integration of the bar and restaurant is not to my liking. Despite this, I highly recommend dining here. (Please note that parking facilities are scarce in the vicinity.) ”
“ Good food, friendly service - we had a good evening there. ”
“ Visited during a busy time but managed to get a table. Unassuming restaurant which sold salads which we were craving for! Good service. ”
“ We went to this place as there were not many open in San Sebastian serving menu of day at a reasonable price so we took a chance on this as it looked busy and full of locals. Unfortunately Spanish is not our first language but despite this the girls helped us get on the WiFi so we could translate the menu. They seemed fast and efficient and helpful and we got a nice and basic three course meal with a bottle of wine for 16 euros each. You're not going to be blown away by the food but it was perfectly acceptable to fill us up and the puddings were to die for...go for the carrot cake and you won't be disappointed. All in all a good find for 2 hungry English tourists! ”
